These guidelines explain how you may use the TablePro name, logo and app icon. If you follow them, you do not need to ask us. For anything they do not cover, email [email protected].
TablePro's source code is open under the AGPLv3. That license covers the code. It gives no right to use the TablePro name, logo or app icon, which tell people that an app comes from us. These guidelines do not limit what the law already allows, such as naming TablePro in a review, a comparison or a news story.

Our trademarks
#These guidelines cover:
- the name TablePro;
- the TablePro app icon, its flat version and the database glyph inside it;
- the TablePro logo: the icon next to the name;
- the look of our website and apps, where copying it would make people think a copy is ours.
TablePro™ is a trademark of Ngo Quoc Dat. Some of these marks may not be registered. These guidelines cover them either way.
The name TablePro on its own, and names in the form TablePro for <X>, are reserved for our own apps, such as TablePro for Mac and TablePro for iPhone and iPad.
The basic rule
#When you use our marks, make it clear what people are getting and who made it. Do not suggest that we made, endorse, sponsor or support your product, service or event unless we have said so in writing.
Using the marks gives you no rights in them. Do not register TablePro, or a name or logo that looks or sounds like it, as a trademark, company name or product name.
Writing the name
#- Write TablePro as one word, with a capital T and a capital P.
- Do not write Table Pro, Tablepro or TABLEPRO, and do not shorten it to TP.
- Keep the name in English in every language.
- Use it as a name. Do not use it as a verb, make it plural, or join it to another word.
- Lowercase
tableprois fine where a format needs it: a command, a file name, a package name or a repository name.
Naming your product
#If you make an extension, plugin, workflow, theme, app or service that works with TablePro, its name must show that it is yours. Put your name first and TablePro last, after "for".
Use one of these forms:
<Name> for TablePro<Name> extension for TablePro, or plugin, workflow, add-on or integration<Name>, compatible with TablePro<Name>, for use with TablePro
Do not use these forms:
TableProalone, as the name of your productTablePro <Name>, such as TablePro SearchTablePro for <Name>, such as TablePro for Notes. This form is reserved for our own apps.TablePro by <you>TablePro - <Name>or<Name> - TablePro- a name with Official, Certified or Verified next to TablePro
- a name that blends with or imitates TablePro, such as MyTablePro, TableProX, TablePro++ or TabelPro
These rules apply to every name people see: the app name, the title in a store or directory, the window title and the listing. They apply where a store usually puts the app name first, and in every language.
A command or button may say what it does, such as "Open in TablePro".
Do not use a bundle ID or package ID that starts with com.TablePro, com.tablepro or app.tablepro.
Using the logo and app icon
#- Use the files on this page. You may resize them. Do not change their colors, proportions or shapes, add effects, outlines or shadows, rotate them, or combine them with other marks.
- Where only one color is possible, such as some print, use the glyph in one color.
- Use the logo or the app icon only to refer to TablePro: next to a statement that your product works with TablePro, in a list of supported apps, or as a link to tablepro.app.
- Do not show our logo larger or more prominently than your own name or logo.
- Do not use the TablePro app icon, or an icon that looks like it, as the icon of your product, extension, website or account. Your product needs its own icon.
- You may put a small TablePro app icon in a corner of your own icon, as a badge that shows what your product works with. Keep it no wider than a third of your icon, and keep your own artwork the main element.
- Ask us before you put the logo on the cover of a book or a course.
Saying your product works with TablePro
#You may say in text how your product relates to TablePro, as long as it is true:
<Name> works with TablePro.<Name> opens your TablePro connections.<Name> uses the TablePro MCP server.Requires TablePro <version> or later.
Do not say or suggest that your product is official, certified, verified, approved, sponsored or supported by TablePro. There is no certification or badge program, so do not make a "works with TablePro" badge or seal.
The notice for your product
#If you publish software, a service, a website or goods that use the TablePro name, show this notice where people will see it, such as the README, the store listing, the About window or the site footer:
<Name>is not affiliated with or endorsed by TablePro. TablePro is a trademark of Ngo Quoc Dat.
You may translate the notice. Articles, reviews, tutorials, talks and social posts do not need it.
Forks and modified builds
#You may fork TablePro and share your changes under the AGPLv3. The name and the icon do not come with the code.
- You may redistribute an official build, unchanged, under the TablePro name and icon, for example through a package manager.
- If you distribute a build you compiled, or one you changed, give it a different name and a different icon, and remove the TablePro logo and app icon from it. In text, you may say it is based on TablePro or a fork of TablePro.
- Use your own bundle ID, URL scheme and update feed, so macOS and update checks never mistake your build for ours.
- A build you make for yourself or for use inside your organization, and do not distribute, may keep the name.
Section 7 of the AGPLv3 allows these rules: it lets a licensor decline to grant trademark rights (7(e)) and require that modified versions are marked as different from the original (7(c)).
Domains, accounts and handles
#- Do not register a domain name that contains TablePro or a name like it, such as tablepro-tools.com or tabelpro.app.
- Do not create an account, username, page, group or channel whose name starts with TablePro or could pass for ours, such as @TableProSupport.
- A community space may use a name that shows it is run by users, such as "Fans of TablePro" or "Hanoi TablePro Users", if it says that its members run it, not us.
Articles, talks and user groups
#You may use the TablePro name without asking:
- in articles, books, tutorials, videos, courses, reviews and talks about TablePro;
- in the name of a free, non-profit user group or meetup about TablePro, named as described above;
- with the logo or app icon inside that content, such as on a slide or in a screenshot.
Do not suggest that we wrote, published or approve your work, and do not use the logo as the brand of your event or publication.
Merchandise
#You may make T-shirts, stickers and similar items with the TablePro name or logo for yourself, for friends, or to give away at no charge. To sell anything that carries the TablePro name or logo, ask us first.
The trademark symbol
#We mark TablePro with ™, never with ®. You do not have to add ™ when you write TablePro. If you do, put it after the first or most prominent use, and never use ®.
Asking for permission
#To use our marks in a way these guidelines do not cover, email [email protected]. Say what you want to do, where, and for how long. We aim to reply within 14 days. You have permission only once we give it in writing. We may withdraw a permission if the use changes or stops following these guidelines.
Reporting misuse
#If you find a product, website or account that uses the TablePro name or logo in a confusing way, email [email protected] with a link and a short description. Please do not contact the people involved yourself; we will.
Changes to these guidelines
#We may update these guidelines. Each version has a number, and we post it here with a new "Last updated" date. When a version adds a rule, products that followed the previous version have 60 days to follow the new one.
- Version 1.0: the first version. Products published before it have 60 days to follow it.
