Homebrew

Homebrew installs the build for your Mac’s chip. After that, the app keeps itself up to date.

brew install --cask tablepro

Homebrew’s copy is updated separately and can trail a new release. If it installs an older version, choose TablePro > Check for Updates… to get the current one.

iPhone and iPad

Requires iOS and iPadOS 18 or later

TablePro for iPhone and iPad

Install and first run

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file.
  2. Drag TablePro into the Applications folder.
  3. Open TablePro from Applications. Choose Open when macOS asks you to confirm.
  4. Add a connection, or try the bundled Chinook SQLite database through Help > Open Sample Database.

TablePro is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so you don’t need to change any security setting to open it.

Common drivers are bundled. Others need an internet connection to download on first use and update separately from the app.

Updates

TablePro checks for updates once a day. A new version downloads in the background and installs the next time you quit the app.

Most releases reach Macs in stages over about a day and a half. To get one sooner, choose TablePro > Check for Updates…

You can turn off automatic checks or automatic installs in Settings > General. Update checks go to GitHub, where releases are published, and every update is signed and verified before it installs.

Other platforms

TablePro is not available for Linux or Windows, and there is no release date.
