What you can do in TablePro

The Mac app is the full workbench, and every page below describes it first. The iPhone and iPad app is a separate native app with a smaller scope, and each page ends with what it offers there.

Feature areas

Each area has a page with the details, the plan each part needs on the Mac, and the limits worth knowing.
  • Querying

Schema-aware autocomplete, :name parameters, a searchable history, saved queries, EXPLAIN plans you can compare, and results as charts or maps.

Starter: Query Insights and Result Charts

  • Data editing

Filters and highlight rules, foreign keys you can follow, edits that wait until you save, a Safe Mode level per connection, and Data Rewind for values a save replaced.

    Starter: Data Rewind

  • Schema

Structure changes with a DDL preview, a read-only ER diagram, Compare & Sync between two databases, Copy To across engines, and Users & Roles.

    Starter: Compare & Sync

  • Import & export

Import CSV, TSV, JSON, JSONL, XLSX and SQL files, export tables and results, open data files without a connection, and back up supported engines with their own dump tools.

    No paid features

  • AI & MCP

An optional AI assistant that uses the provider you choose, and a local MCP server that lets clients such as Claude Code and Cursor use your saved connections.

    No paid features

  • Connections

SSH tunnels with jump hosts, TLS, cloud sign-in and tunnel commands, passwords from the Keychain or a secret manager, and connections imported from other apps.

    Starter: Environment Variables

  • Sync & teams

iCloud Sync between your Macs, iPhone and iPad, connection files you can share, and Team Catalog and Team Library for sharing with your team.

Starter: iCloud Sync, Linked Folders and Encrypted ExportTeam: Team Catalog and Team Library

iPhone and iPad

TablePro for iPhone and iPad is a separate app, free with no in-app purchases. It connects over SSH or TLS, browses and edits rows and runs queries, with Shortcuts, a Home Screen widget and Live Activities for running queries. It has no AI assistant, schema editing, Data Rewind or Compare & Sync.
